Ecovacs is going to keep your windows cleaner than ever with the W2 Pro Omni

The original Winbot was one of those first generation products that you knew had lots of potential, but didn't quite deliver what it needed to.

It was fine at cleaning windows, but the unit itself was pretty noisy, and needed to be plugged in to work, which made it much harder to use.

Ecovacs has taken that on board with the new W2 Pro Omni, adding a new Omni station that can deliver 110 minutes of cleaning without needing mains power.

You can still have it plugged in, which is great for rooms with large glass areas to clean and an accessible power cable. But on the battery power, you should be able to clean up to 55 square metres of windows.

How it works

If you've never seen a window cleaning robot before, know that it's not too different from a robot vacuum. The Winbot W2 Pro uses 800N of suction force to keep the cleaner's 5.2 kg weight held in place.

There's a 2-in-1 safety power cord, that's designed to support weights of over 100kg, and 12 levels of protection through hardware sensors and software to ensure that the robot doesn't fall, while ensuring the robot can survive the elements.

This generation also sees a 30% improvement on its cleaning efficiency thanks to its brushless motor and improved WIN-SLAM 4.0 Intelligent Planning algorithm. In real terms, it delivers more precise edge detection and better edge cleaning, plus more efficient turning.

A three-nozzle spray increases water pressure and allows for the better dissolving of stubborn stains more easily.

Pricing and availability

The Ecovacs Winbot W2 Pro Omni is available at Ecovacs directly.

The window cleaning robot also comes with insurance protection that offers financial security and worry-free window cleaning in the unlikely event of any damage or malfunction.
