ECOVACS launches Australian-first robot window cleaner

ECOVACS ROBOTICS is bringing its WINBOT W2 PRO OMNI robotic window cleaner to Australia, featuring upgraded cleaning technologies alongside a pioneering in-base, multi-functional OMNI station, designed to make window cleaning more efficient, safe, and hassle-free.

The station’s 5.2kg weight is held in place by an 800N suction force to offer enhanced stability. Advanced safety features include the two-in-one composite power cord and safety rope safeguard. The reinforced three-layered safety rope can withstand over 100kg loads, a 20kg improvement over previous versions.

Delivering a high-capacity battery for up to 110 minutes of cable-free cleaning to cover up to 55 square metres, the WINBOT W2 PRO OMNI can adapt to almost all window surfaces and sizes, whether floor-to-ceiling, small-sized, frameless, or tilting.

Exclusive three-nozzle wide-angle spray atomisation technology provides a significant increase in water pressure and spray coverage to dissolve stubborn dirt in one efficient stroke. An along-the-edge mode improves the clean of window edges by 65%.

Thanks to the built-in brushless motor and WIN-SLAM 4.0 Intelligent Planning algorithm, cleaning efficiency is improved by 30%. The intuitive, multi-function control panel on the station simplifies operation. With one-touch buttons, manage cable retraction, turn the power on/off, select cleaning modes, and more. Alternatively, settings can be controlled via the ECOVACS HOME app.

In recent market research conducted by ECOVACS, robots that clean windows were marked as one of the most desired options by Australians when asked about most desirable use cases for home robotics. Robotic window cleaning was equal to robots that cook dinner, but was more desired than robots that iron, purify air, clean pools, receive deliveries and more.
